THE MORNING MIX WITH RANDY HUGG
You can hear me weekday mornings, hosting the Morning Mix on Mix 102-7. I have been here soooo long that I constantly hear stories of adult listeners who waited for me to announce their school closing from back when they were kids. Good lord! Most people decide they’re going to work in a smaller market as long as they can and move to the next bigger size city, and continue that process until they’ve achieved world domination or have become Ryan Seacrest, whichever comes quicker. I’ve decided to stay in an area that I like without all the big city radio market pressure … in other words, no one else wants me. My family consists of my wife Pat, my son, Eric, and my “other” son, Erin (it sounds so much better than ’stepson’). Then there is his wife Kristen and the little baby Connor, who has elevated me to the title of “grandfather.” Good lord again! Jonathon was born in Chicago almost 2 score ago...no need for specifics. He's bounced around radio stations in Colorado, Minnesota, Illinois, and Nebraska just to name a few. Now that his 3 step-kids are grown and out of the house, it's just him, his wife Cathy...and their 17-year old cat Fluffo. Jonathon enjoys music, most sports, cooking exotic food, and...channel surfing...He is a man, after all. When she's not working she loves chillin' with friends outdoors, and trying new things. How else do you think she got talked into skydiving when she's petrified of heights?!?!? Amber is also an avid-dog lover...especially when she can teach her puppy new tricks. Chad Blake is originally from Ottumwa, Iowa (home of comedian/actor Tom Arnold & Radar O’Reilly from M*A*S*H). His career stops include KSTZ Des Moines, KMXV Kansas City, WJLQ Pensacola and most recently 6 years in Denver on KWOF playing country music. Chad has a HUGE passion for all types of music, and his night show reflects that.
